Educational Program

The purpose of this Call for Grants is to encourage and to provide support to EPIKH partners organisation to establish or reinforce long-term research cooperation through a coordinated joint programme of exchange of researchers for short periods. If you are interested in applying for a grants, you can find more information about the procedure in the follow.

To be considered suitable for funding, applicants should be prepared to complete online the name of their own institute (Partner from) and of the host’s institute, as indicative preference, where they choose to spend the grants time (Partner to). For Member States and Associated countries organisations, the mobility must be towards the Third Country partners, and vice-versa. The duration of exchanges for each researcher or technical/management staff will be for a maximum duration of 12 months.
Applicants will also need to have ready to upload a document (.pdf or .doc format, not exceeding 5MB) with the following information:

A curriculum vitae et Studiorum, covering education program, cultural and professional experiences and all other information that might help in the evaluation.
Copies/photocopies of all transcripts or other academic records that give proof of the higher education studies (i.e. Bachelors, Masters etc. ) including credits and grades achieved in each single subject.
A short description (approx. 1000 words) of the aim of the visit, indicating the scientific motivation and justification, the research themes of interest, planned starting date of visit and preferred duration (in weeks)

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Evaluation of candidature

The evaluation of applications will be coordinated by the Grants sub-committee of the EPIKH Scientific Steering Committee (SSC), which will make recommendations for approval by the SSC. Additional information may be requested by the Steering Committee of the activity to which you are applying. Applicants will be informed whether or not they have been successful, and the amount for which they have been funded, within three months of their candidature submission. Applicants must understand, however, that delays can occur and SSC reserves the right to change the time at which applicants will be informed.
