The Grid school for Grid system administrators will have an indicative program like the following
(this does not include the days needed for the final dismantling of the training infrastructure):

1st Day: Introduction to the EPIKH project and its objectives; scientific/technical presentations of the selected applications; installation of the application code on the training infrastructure including compilation and linking;

2nd Day: Introduction of the Grid Security Infrastructure with practicals; Introduction to the Grid Information and Data Management System with practicals; hands-on sessions for the porting of selected applications on the training infrastructure;

3rd Day: Introduction of the Grid Workload Management System with practicals on several kind of possible jobs (parametric, collections, workflows, etc.); hands-on sessions for the porting of selected applications on the training infrastructure and preparation of the short reports for the next day;

4th Day: Short reports from the application on the porting activity and problems encountered; advanced tutorial and practicals on Grid Data and Metadata Management Systems; hands-on sessions for the porting of selected applications on the training infrastructure and preparation of the short reports for the next day;

5th Day: Short reports from the application on the porting activity and problems encountered; introduction to the use of Grid middleware APIs with practicals; hands-on sessions for the porting of selected applications on the training infrastructure and preparation of the short reports for the next day;

6th Day: Short reports from the application on the porting activity and problems encountered; practical examples on how to deploy application software on large e-Infrastructures; handson sessions for the porting of selected applications on the training infrastructure and preparation of the short reports for the next day;

7th Day: Free day;

8th Day: Short reports from the application on the porting activity and problems encountered; introduction on how to access databases on a Grid environment with use cases and practicals; hands-on sessions for the porting of selected applications on the training infrastructure and preparation of the short reports for the next day;

9th Day: Short reports from the application on the porting activity and problems encountered; advanced tutorial on metadata management; hands-on sessions for the porting of selected applications on the training infrastructure and preparation of the short reports for the next day;

10th Day: Short reports from the application on the porting activity and problems encountered; hands-on sessions for the porting of selected applications on the training infrastructure and preparation of the short reports for the next day;

11th Day: Short reports from the application on the porting activity and problems encountered; demonstration of the use of Grid Portals as high level user interfaces to e-Infrastructures with practicals; hands-on sessions for the porting of selected applications on the training infrastructure and preparation of the short reports for the next day; creation of Grid portal services for the most advanced applications;

12th Day: Final reports from the application on the porting activity and outlook to the future to see how applications can be permanently ported on existing e-Infrastructure in the country/region.
